During the V Assembly of the Latin American and Caribbean Seismological CommissionA Special session focused in active tectonics was organized by members of the OLLIN network: Characterization of Latin America and Caribbean crustal faults based on earthquake geology

Five early career researchers (ECRs) recieved support from OLLIN ICGP 669 to attend the PATA-days in Chile next October (6th - 11th). More info at: https://www.patadayschile.cl/
A five-day training school focusing on the application of earthquake geology to seismic hazard assessment was organized by the IGCP-669 OLLIN project in collaboration with the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (Argentina).
The course was free of charge but only 18 students would be admitted (priority was given to early career researchers).
